In order to know the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of commercial monogerm and multigerm cultivars of domestic sugar beet, this research was conducted in Karaj, Mashhad, Kermanshah, Miandoab, Moghan and Ardabil regions in 2020. Eleven cultivars were planted in six rows with a row spacing of 50 cm and a length of 50 m. The obtained data for each region were analyzed by simple analysis of variance and according to Bartlett test, combined analysis was not performed due to non-uniformity of variances. There was a significant difference between cultivars in terms of white sugar yield in all regions. In Kermanshah and Karaj regions, Perfecta cultivar had the highest sugar yield with 18.45 and 13.37 tons per hectare, respectively. In Mashhad, Arta cultivar with 9.47 tons per hectare, in Ardabil, Motahar cultivar with 10.17 tons per hectare and in Moghan and Miandoab, Palma cultivar with 10.65 and 6.61 tons per hectare, respectively, had the highest sugar yield. Among the regions, the highest and lowest sugar yield were related to Kermanshah and Moghan with 10.69 and 7.66 tons per hectare, respectively. Among the cultivars, the highest and lowest sugar yields were produced by Perfecta and Ekbatan cultivars with 10.69 and 7.66 tons per hectare, respectively.Key word: Sugar beet, Commercial varieties, Regions, sugar yield.
