Selection and introduction of new veraity of plants is one of the most important and valuable methods to improve the crops and orchard products in the yield unit. In order to investigation and selection of new veraity of peanut, numbers of 49 genotypes were studied in Guilan province. This project carried out on experimental design of Latis square with four replications in agricultural research station of Fakhr Abad, Lasht Nesha. The major features and properties of the genotypes were recorded based on IBPGR and ICRISAT discriptors during the growth period and laboratory of Lahijan reseach station. Among the 49 Gentypes, G113, G128, G140, G150, G158, G167, G171, G176, G178, G190, G192, G201, G208 and G212 were showed the highest seed yield and G167 showed the highest yield with seed length of 15.34 mm and seed weight of 171.4 g. Also, among the 49 Gentypes, G125, G130, G133, G140, G183 and G222 had very big seeds with seed length of 18- 20 mm and G103, G107, G113, G115, G127, G128, G168, G176, G178, G192, G201, G208 and G221 had big seeds with seed length of 16-17.99 mm and these seeds are more popular for customers. G212 with small seed size and seed yield of 139.3 g and G128 and G178 with big seed size with seed yield of 157.1 and 134.9 g respectively and G158 with medium seed size and seed yield of 163.1 g for each five plants were resistant against the three common and important desease in the area including: Sclerotium rolfsii, Cercospera personata and Aspergilus niger.Key word: Peanut genotypes, Fungi desease, Gilan.
