To compare grain yields of promising lines of bread wheat, i.e. (N-96-4, N-96-5, N-96-7, N-96-15, N-96-17,) with Tirgan as the check, an experiment was performed under farmer’s condition in two regions of Gonbad (Chekr Atta Bahlekeh) and Kalaleh (Dahaneh) of Golestan province during 2020-2021. During the growing season, similar technical and agronomical practices and recommendations were followed for each treatment. The necessary note-taking was done during the growing season. At harvest time, ten randomly selected samples from each plot were taken using a one-square-meter quadrat. They were harvested, and yield components were recorded. The comparison of the seed yield was made using a two-sample independent t-test. In addition, each plot was harvested with a combine harvester. The results of the grain yield data indicated a significant difference between studied lines for grain yield with the check Tirgan. The comparison of the grain yield means showed that the line N-96-15 with the mean yield of 7384 kg/ha in Gonbad and 4835 kg/ha in Kalaleh had a higher yield than that of Tirgan. In direct harvest with a combine harvester, this line yielded 7,000 and 4,366 kg/ha in Checker Ata Bahlekeh and Dahaneh, respectively. The increase in the grain yield of this line compared to the control harvested by combine harvester in Gonbad and Kalaleh areas was 25 and 6%, respectively. Among the studied promising lines, the N-96-15 line had the highest superiority over the control variety.
