This project was implemented in five target regions: Karaj (temperate), Mashhad (cold temperate), Birjand (warm and in saline conditions), Esfahan(temperate wram), Gorgan (temperate wet) and Zabol (hot and dry and in dry conditions). In Karaj, 207 hybrid populations in F1 to F4 were studied by pedagogical method and 30 hybrid populations in F5 and 40 F6 compounds, which reached relative purity, were studied. In Mashhad, Birjand, Gorgan and Zabul, according to the plan, in each region, with materials collected in the previous year in that region, there were also 20 crossings from the headquarters of the F2 generation. Each hybrid mass was cultivated in a 7-meter-long line. Plant spacings in all generations (except F2) were 12 × 60 cm. Factors such as date of flowering, number of tillers, plant height, panicle length, resistance to pests and diseases, stress resistance, uniformity of plants per mass, harvesting date and selective plant seed weight were timely and recorded. Pure lines entered the breeding programs of sorghum in the following year and will be cultivated in a generation for other bird populations of selected plants in a pedigree manner next year. And until it reaches the pure lines of the program, its program is being prepared and presented in a timely manner. From this plan, in all directions, 170 bog and line populations in generations F1 to F5 in Karaj, 104 round and dense masses in Mashhad, 88 in Birjand, 114 in Gorgan and 147 in Zabol were selected to continue this program.
