A farm research was conducted to evaluate the adaptation and comparison yield of eleven cotton varieties in the research farm of Bampur Agricultural Research Station of Agricultural an Natural Recourses Research and Education Center of Baluchistan in Bampur region. A randomized block design with three replications was used. The evaluated varieties were Golestan, Varamin, Bakhtagan, Latif, Shayan, Sajedi, Khorshid, Armaghan, Sapeed, Kashmar and Khordad. Seed of varieties was prepared by Cotton Research Institute. Results of experiment were showed that the effect of variety on cotton yield, fiber yield, seed yield, A boll weight and boll number plant-1 was significant at level of 1%. The highest cotton yield, fiber yield, a boll weight and boll number plant-1 with 2931.8 kg ha-1, 1194.5 kg ha-1 , 6.15 g and 20.4 respectively, were related to Latif variety. Quality parameters viz., UHML, SFC, moisture percent, impurity percent, micronaire, fiber strength and fiber uniformity were affected by variety at 1% level, but, the effect of variety on fiber elongation was not significant. Latif variety with mean of 28.49 mm and 4.62 mic, UHML and micronaire respectively, was superior than other varieties.Bakhtagan variety was recorded the furthest fiber strength with mean of 3.04 g/tex. Due to result of this experiment, among under studied varieties, Latif variety was superior to others because of better quantity parameters as well as quality characters, especially cotton yield, fiber yield and UHML. The quantity and quality characters of Golestan, Khordad, Armaghan, Shayan, Sajedi and Varamin varieties were proper, also. Therefore, after the Latif variety, the cultivation of these varieties of cotton are recommendable in Bampur region and same climatic conditions.Any serious insects was not observed during the growing season. plants were attacked only by Aphis gossypil which is controllable easily, by any systemic insecticide.Key words: Cotton, Variety, Quantity and quality yield
