In order to study 1792 samples of wheat seeds from 61 commercial cultivars in different seed classes, produced in seed production centers in 34 provinces, control plots of 6 square meters area (4 lines with 30 cm width and 5 meters length) was formed. In addition, 61 plots were allocated to the reference collection of wheat commercial cultivars. At first, wheat cultivars were identified based on morphological characteristics (according to the UPOV discripter), then calculated reject number by counting the number of other species and cultivars and comparison with the number allowed in the guidelines of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Results showed that 25.7 percent of the samples were Non-standard. This indicates a 5.6% decrease in wheat seed quality over the year of 2017-2018. Examination of samples by seed class showed that breeder and certified seed class with 42.7% and 10.2% of reject numbers, respectively, had the highest and lowest non-standard samples among different seed classes. Comparison of the percentage of non-standard seed samples by province also showed that the most reject numbers in terms of genetic purity belong to the centers of Kohkiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, East Azerbaijan, Bushehr, Gilan, Jiroft and Kahnooj were 67, 56, 55, 50 and 50 percent, respectively. The lowest reject number of samples in terms of genetic purity also belong to the centers of; Hamedan, Alborz and Qom with 6, 6 and 5 percent, respectively. Also, the reject number in terms of originality the centers of Qom, Baluchistan, Tehran, Hormozgan and Yazd with 32, 20, 17, 14 and 12 percent, respectively, had the highest number of non-original samples among the centers. However, all samples of East Azerbaijan Markazi, Bushehr, Gilan, Semnan, Markazi, Khuzestan, Ardabil, Lorestan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Shahroud, Kerman, Mazandaran, Zanjan, Qazvin, West Azerbaijan, North Khorasan, Razavi Khorasan, Hamedan and Alborz were evaluated as standard in this regard. The results of cultivar analysis showed that all samples of Roshan, Applump, Aran and Swason lacked the necessary genetic purity, however, genetic purity of all samples of Ehsan, N-91-9, Narin, M- 92-20, Rakhshan, Aras Bar, Radia, Eqlid, Basilo, Bam, Talaei, D-91-17, MV-17, S-93-15, SS-85-6, Aflak, Antonius, Sarang and Loculus was evaluated standard. Also, the most rejected numbers in terms of originality belong to Hana MS-90-15, Sivand, Narin, Khalil, Mehregan, Chamran 2, N-91-17, Shebrang and Chamran with 33, 33, 26, 22, 17, 8, 3, 3, 2 and 2% of the rejected numbers respectively. Samples of other cultivars were evaluated as standard in this regard.Key-Words: Irrigated Wheat, Seed Classes, Control Plots.
