This study was performed in Karaj, Mashhad, Kermanshah, Miandoab, Moghan, Moshginshahr and Ardebil regions in order to find out the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of commercial sugar beet monogerm and multigerm cultivars. Five monogerm genotypes and one commercial multigerm cultivar with six control cultivars (two foreign monogerm and four domestic monogerm cultivars) were planted in six lines 50 cm apart and 50 m long. The data were analyzed by simple variance for each region and compound analysis was not performed based on Bartlett test. There was a significant difference between cultivars in white sugar yield in all regions. In Kermanshah, Meshginshahr and Ardebil, Perfekta cultivar had the highest sugar yield with 12.4, 8.9 and 8.8 ton / ha, respectively. In Miandoab, Palma with 13.7, Mashhad Aria with 9.2, Karaj SBSI035 with 10.8 and Moghan SBSI037 with 7.7 t / ha had the highest sugar yield, respectively. Among the regions, the highest sugar yield was in Kermanshah with 10.6 ton / ha and the lowest sugar yield was in Meshginshahr with 6.4 ton / ha. The highest and lowest sugar yields were obtained by Palma and Perfekta (9.5 and 9.4 ton, respectively) and Paya with 6.4 ton / ha. Given the different response of cultivars to sugar yield in different regions, it seems necessary to consider specific cultivar or cultivars for each region.Key word: Sugar beet, Commercial varieties, Regions, Sugar Yield
