Rezvani, E., Jazayeri, M,R., Ghasemi Ranjbar, J., Moradi, A., Mobasser, S., Karimi Mazidi, S., Noorinejad, H and Karimi, A,AEight maize cultivars including 3 cultivars with early maturity groups and 4 late cultivars with 3 suitable controls for each group (14 treatments in total) in two separate experiments were tested in four different regions (Karaj, Kermanshah, Khuzestan and Fars) in a randomized complete block design with four replications and two years for evaluation of the agronomic value of crops. During the cropping season, the notes were taken based on the corn VCU guidelines and the grain yield and components of grain yield were evaluated. Simple and combined analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used based on 14% grain moisture content. The results showed that PL538 and BC595 in the early and mid-maturity group had higher mean scores than the early control cultivars and obtained superior rank in most environments. Also in the late-maturity group, BC621 and TORRO cultivars were superior to controls both in terms of higher dry grain yield in combined analysis and stability of yield in separate analysis in different years and locations. This varieties can be introduced and included in the national list of plant varieties. Keywords: Maize, Grain, Yield, Stability
