Current report was conducted to evaluated Iranian aquaculture achievement and production from 2017-2018. Total aquaculture production was about 477269 tons and have 13%growth rate than six program prediction production. There were 20960 active farms and 87502 employees in this part. On the other hand fresh water productions were about 435762 tons which indicates 103% of sixth development plan happened. Carps and trout were produced 198623 tons (45.5%) and 172615 tons (39.5%) and 244 million pieces of ornamental , which were 108%of sixth development program. In addition, in order to diversifying aquatic, species such as Sea bass, Shank, tilapia, Caspian salmon, variety of aquatic plants, algae and artemia were on the agenda of this deputy. Five province of Mazandaran, Khuzestan, Gilan, Lorestan and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari with about 254000 tons, they produced 53% of the total production, respectively. In the part of sustainable recruitments and stock assessment responsibility of aquatic resources, 359 million pieces of fish and shrimp were produced and released in aquatic resource of the country. Among that 269 million pieces were bony fish and 2.5 million pieces of sturgeon. Also, More than 26 million pieces of carps and raise to 17 million pieces of native species including Shizotorax, Benne , Gattan,Barzam, Anzeh , Shirbot and 43 million pieces of cultured shrimp were produced. Furthermore, more than 2500 tons of sturgeon meat and 3500 kg caviar were produced in 2017. In shrimp section, 30450 pieces of female and 27350 pieces of male Vannami brood stocks were produced which produced 2596 million pieces shrimp Pls shrimp and their production efficiency were about 85284 pls /hectare such as Khouzestan, Bushehr, Hormozgan and Sistan &Baluchestan provinces.In comparison to last year, 9244 hectares were cultivated with shrimp and 18% growth. According to our sixth development plan sector of aquaculture were obtained about 32000 tons (120%) of shrimp and marine production despite of different problem in that, such as lack of financial allocation in order to, supplying initial materials and white spot disease in different province of Iran. TCP project of Rainbow Trout Genetic Improvement in the Islamic Republic of Iran was been continuing by FAO office with providing document of plan with cooperation of Internal and international experts. In this agenda, online course carried on implementation of Rainbow trout breeding by Norwegian experts for 100 persons of farmers and Iranian experts, another activity was study tour and visiting capacity of salmon breeding in Norway. The other activities of deputy were extension of the new methods such as cost production decrease, productivity improvement of solid and water resources, that can be achieve to change the pattern of aquatic animal cultivation and reforming the structure of large and complexes farms.
